The 1980s are San Francisco's decade - four rings, a 15-1 season in 1984, and a 1989 side that topped both the offensive and defensive ratings on the way to a 55-10 final. The interruption is Chicago, who went 15-1 in 1985 with the meanest defense of the era. Two seasons were cut short by strikes, which makes 1982 the shortest year in the whole library. Ten seasons, all playable.

1983 - The Raiders hammer a Washington side that rated a maximum 20 on offense. Super Bowl XVIII.

1984 - San Francisco go 15-1. Super Bowl XIX.

1985 - Chicago go 15-1 with the decade's best defense, then win 46-10. Super Bowl XX.

1986 - The Giants go 14-2 behind Lawrence Taylor. Super Bowl XXI.

1987 - Another strike season. Washington win again. Super Bowl XXII.

1988 - Cincinnati and San Francisco, decided in the last minute. Super Bowl XXIII.

1989 - The 49ers top both ratings and win 55-10. Super Bowl XXIV.
