Genesis of the Forest
THE MEMORY OF ROOTS
Genesis of the Forest – Fragment 15
(excerpt from the Codex of Genesis)
It does not surge forth.
It rises from the obscurity.
Before the tree, before even the seed,
there is an underground choice:
to hold before growing,
to connect before revealing.
The forest does not impose.
It watches,
sheltered from all display,
within a silent pact between patience and light.
Nothing dominates here.
Everything participates in the slow holding of what rises without denying its depth.
This fifteenth fragment of the Codex of Genesis
does not explore vegetal nature.
It manifests a vertical consciousness woven by the horizontality of bonds,
a quiet dignity born in the depths.
Here, the Forest is not a place,
but a way of being together without noise.
🌲 Perhaps one day a Codex of the Forest will open,
not composed of Geneses,
but of 64 living forms of silent rootedness,
weavings of listening, networks of attention, vegetal pacts,
where each expression would be a deep accord between depth and rising.
🜂 This text is sealed.
It does not grow.
It extends within you as you descend.
It is not a tree.
It is what teaches you to grow without forgetting what holds you.
