This pdf pattern includes written instructions for construction with both charts and written instructions for the lace.

Cascadia Shawl is a pattern for a lace shawl knitted from the bottom up. The name is derived from the single traditional Shetland lace pattern used throughout: Madeira Cascade. The pattern includes both full written instructions and charts.

Pattern sizes

Instructions provided for Small (Large) shawl when knitted to gauge to measure approximately:
Wingspan 124 (185cm) / 49 (73) in.
Depth of 58 (79) cm / 23 (31)in.
Size can be adjusted by working to a different gauge, but yarn requirements will change accordingly.

Yarn required

Approximately 400(740) metres / 437(809) yards laceweight yarn with 800 metres / 874 yards per 100g.
