The Buzz mittens is a choose your own adventure type of pattern, where you can choose between basic mittens, half mittens or tabi mittens. 

There are many different ways to customize the mittens with stripes or colourblocking. Take inspiration from the sample pictures or choose your own stripe pattern. 

The mittens are a perfect use for scrap yarn, use any sport/DK weight yarn or hold fingering weight yarn together with mohair. 

Yarn

50 g of any fingering weight yarn held together with 25 g of lace mohair. 

or

50 g of any sport/DK weight yarn, for the L full size mittens you might need a couple grams extra.

You can use thicker yarn for thicker mittens, but size down on needle size to hit gauge.

Needles

3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles

Gauge

23 sts and 32 rows / 10 cm in the round

Sizing

S – kids (M – adult) L – adult

Mitten measurements: 14 (17,5) 21 cm

The sizes are measured around the hand of the mitten, not including the thumb. The mittens are designed to have no ease.

The length of the mittens can easily be adjusted for the perfect fit.
