Ferry between Campobello NB - Lubec Maine 1925

Ferries have always been important for island communities and Campobello Island NB is no exception. Initially serviced only by ferries from mainland communities, this 1925 Campobello – Lubec ferry is one of the earliest. Ferries still run today but a bridge from Lubec is the main access to the Island.
