This is a four panelled under-bust corset pattern with a gentle cinch (3-4'' on standard sizes) to accentuate your waist. The main panels are curved into the ribs and hips by the addition of gores. The gores allow for great flexibility with sizing. There are five gores per side - you will become good at 'gores' if you attempt this design! There is the option to fit it to hip or create a stunning 'peplum' design by using over-sized gores. Additional gores can be added to further improve fit - it's a truly flexible way to create a comfortable corset. Note - this design sweeps high over the hips.

ALSO INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES! Intermediate standard (although if you nail those gore insertions with practise, complete beginners should be fine - it allows for a really simple approach to fitting by using the gores to enlarge or reduce the under-bust or hip - just pick your waist and go from there).

Note – no lacing gap is factored into this pattern.

The corset length measures 27.5cm (11'') at the front and 26cm (10'') at the back.

This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and downloadable as a pdf file - you will need to print out on size A (letter) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' is ticked in your print dialogue box.

A toile must always be made to check the fit of corset patterns – at this stage you can experiment with the different sized gored to perfect the fit. You will also be able to test the length of the corset at the toile stage - lengthen or shorten by trimming the top and bottom lines to suit your model.

Please take a look at my website www.corsetsbycaroline.co.uk where I have lots of information about corset making and where it is more cost-effective to buy this design (non EU countries only sorry).

There are no restrictions on the use of this pattern - use to your heart's content. I simply ask that you don't pass on the file or use it to, say, profit from a line of ready-to-wear corsets.
