This caseload compliance tracker puts every IEP date for your whole SPED caseload on paper where you can see it: annual IEP due dates, re evaluations, service minutes, related services, progress report dates, and the secondary transition items most teams track.

Why I made this: Every case manager I know has had a due date sneak up on them. The district system holds the dates, but it does not tap you on the shoulder. I keep a paper backup in a private binder and check it on the first school day of every month. It takes about 15 minutes, and it has saved me more than once.

What's included:

• Cover and how to page

• Caseload at a glance

• Year at a glance due dates

• Annual IEP timeline tracker

• Re evaluation tracker

• Service minutes tracker (monthly)

• Related services tracker

• Progress report schedule

• Secondary transition requirements checklist

• Monthly compliance check

How I use it: Fill in Caseload at a Glance from your district system at the start of the year, then copy each date onto the year calendar. Use initials or ID numbers and keep it locked up. Log service minutes weekly. Do the monthly check on the first school day of each month. Timelines vary by state, so check your own rules.

How it fits with my other products: My Transition Assessment Mega Pack has a caseload tracker for transition assessments. This tracker covers the rest of the compliance calendar: annual IEPs, re evaluations, service minutes, and progress reports. It is a paper backup to your district system, not a replacement.

Also from The Transition Cliff:

• IEP at a Glance Sheets for Secondary + Transition Students

• Progress Monitoring Binder: Academic + Functional Goals for Secondary SPED

• Parent Contact Log for SPED + Transition Caseloads

• The Para + SPED Teacher Toolkit bundle (coming soon)

Who it is for: secondary SPED teachers, case managers, transition coordinators, and paras on grades 6 to 12 and 18 to 21 transition teams. Staff resource (Not Grade Specific).

What you download: one printable PDF, 11 pages, US Letter, with write on lines and tables.

Real buildings vary. Fill in your own names, dates, and local rules. Always follow your state and district policies.

Part of the Para + SPED Teacher Toolkit series: Para Handbook, Para Schedule Templates, SPED Sub Binder, IEP at a Glance Sheets, Caseload Compliance Tracker, Parent Contact Log, Progress Monitoring Binder, and IEP Meeting Agenda Kit. The bundle is coming soon.
