Wrap yourself in a vortex shaped garter stitch shawl in two colours.
Slip stitch patterns, stripes and eyelet lace techniques make this a fun and engaging pattern to knit. The pattern is written, not charted.
There are two sizes to choose from and two yarn weights for the smaller size and options within the pattern to help manage your yarn usage.
Sizes: 4 ply: 100 (128) cm x 87 (103) cm, DK: 100 cm x 106 xm
Yarn: 4 ply: Riverknits Chimera, 200m/50g, 1 (2) skeins and Riverknits Nene, 400m/100g skein 0.5 (1) skein, both British Bluefaced Leicester 4ply and hand dyed in Northamptonshire
OR 50 (100) g each of two contrasting 4-ply yarns.
DK: Riverknits Chimera DK (100% British Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 115m/50g), 2 skeins (Yarn A)
and 100g of a plain coloured DK yarn. I used West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece, (100% British Bluefaced Leicester, 225m/100g) 1 skein (Yarn B)
Needles: 4 ply: 4.5mm circular needles or long straights - circular needles are recommended if making the large size.
DK: 5.5mm, 80-100cm circular
