Deserted Houses

Deserted Houses sock pattern was originally named 'Autioituu rannan talot' in the Finnish sock book 'Tuhansien villasukkien maa. Please note that the pattern is available for purchase only in English here on Payhip.


Pattern features

• designed for fingering weight (approximately 400-420 m / 100 g) yarns: 60-70 grams of MC and 5-10 grams of each CC
• knitted cuff down
• instructions written for magic loop but dpns can be used as well
• instructions written in metric and US terminology
• three sizes: small (60 sts), medium (70 sts) and large (80 sts)
• ribbing including twisted stitches
• heel back gusset and a wide heel turn
• charts but no written instructions for the stranded colourwork pattern
