LG OLED55B7V UHD OLED TV - SDR general and gaming content picture settings (2017)

This product contains 2 calibration documents for LG 55-inch OLED55B7V 4K UHD OLED TV:

1. SDR picture settings that can be used for watching movies in standard and high definition, DVDs, Blu-rays etc. and
2. SDR picture settings for playing games where screen needs to be responsive
   In both cases, calibration was done for HDMI limited range YPrPb (component) signal, Rec.709 color space, gamma 2.2, white point target D65.

Important

Settings applicable to other variants and screen sizes of LG's 2017 OLED TVs (B7, C7, E7, G7, and W7 series, 55“, 65“ and 77“ variants) since on all of them same WRGB OLED panel and same picture processing is used.

These documents do not represent the best picture settings since those do not exist. These are settings that I have obtained after performing an ISF calibration using SpectraCal CalMAN 2017 calibration software and they work the best for the unit that I was measuring. However, these documents will be of help since they contain the basic explanation of each control and how do they relate to each other. For example, which controls to use to make the picture brighter and not affect other settings. This allows everyone to make adjustments for better picture quality.
