Hand-dyed Yarn - Spicy Sunshine 013

All Voie de Vie Yarn colorways are produced by hand with an eye toward color celebration and water conservation. The end result is an efficient use of water, yet the colorways are beautiful and always original.

Produced in small batches, these yarns all have subtle differences so no two skeins are ever exactly the same. Spicy Sunshine is currently available on the following bases:

Best Blend is a sport weight yarn comprised of 40% merino, 40% alpaca, and 20% silk; 252 yards sold in 100 gram skeins. This base tends to mute dyes slightly but the end result is satisfying harmonious and incredibly next-to-skin soft. This base is great for small accessories worn next to the skin.

Smooth Sock is a sock weight yarn (obviously!); 100 superwash merino, 438 yards sold in 100 gram skeins. This base takes dye clearly and vibrantly. This yarn is great for lace, all kinds of accessories beyond socks, as well as light-weight garments.

SW Bling is a light fingering weight yarn; 70% superwash wool, 25% nylon, 5% stellina; 462 yards sold in 100 gram skeins. This base likes all dyes and produces a vibrant skein with flecks of silver bling. This base is great for all kinds of accessories as well as garments.

Tweedie Too is a sock weight yarn; 85% merino, 15% acrylic neps, 438 yards sold in 100 gram skeins. This base produces a vibrant skein with dark tweedy flecks. This base is great for lace, socks, all kinds of accessories, as well as garments.
