Free pattern available as video tutorial on my blog here

This Pocket Duck pattern is beginner friendly and quick to work up. It’s also a no-sew pattern, meaning it’s worked completely in one piece.

This bird can be kept as a squishy plush with a super bulky blanket or chenille velvet yarn. It can also be turned into a small “keychain” size with thinner weight yarns and a smaller hook. Crochet a family of duckies of varying sizes by using different weights of yarn. Play with different yarn colors to make a mallard duck, or use one solid yellow to create a rubber ducky.

This miniature duckling is great as a good luck charm, birthday gift, Christmas or holiday gift, as party favors, or market and craft fair products. They make adorable baby shower gifts, decor for nursery rooms, or even crib mobile attachments. Kids and adults alike will adore this cute stuffed animal amigurumi toy!

Finally - easiest little duck to make!

This pattern is easy to follow! I used a smaller needle and WOW, my ducks turned out SO cute! If you haven't already, check out Sweet Softies' website. There are more easy to follow patterns and some of the best tutorials I've come across. Very soothing voice, pace is easy to follow and the final crochet project is worth the time and effort. Really, this contributor is one of the best for putting out tutorial videos and creating great patterns. Sweet Softies - thank you for sharing your talents with everyone!
