RETURN TO SELF™

A 7-Day Journey to Understand Yourself, Question What's Been Holding You Back & Begin Feeling More Like You

What if the reason you feel stuck isn't because there's something wrong with you…

but because you've never fully understood why you became the person you are?

Maybe you've tried to change.

You've tried thinking differently.

You've tried being more confident.

You've told yourself to stop overthinking.

You've promised yourself you won't repeat the same relationship patterns.

You've tried caring less about what other people think.

You've told yourself you should be further ahead by now.

And yet somehow…

you keep finding yourself back in the same place.

What if you don't need another strategy for fixing yourself?

What if you need to understand yourself?

Welcome to Return To Self.

A guided seven-day journey designed to help you look beneath your patterns, beliefs and behaviours—and begin discovering the person underneath them.

7 days.

10–20 minutes a day.

One journey back towards yourself.

FOUNDING PRICE — £7.77

Instant digital access • Complete 7-day guided journey • Exercises • Reflections • Worksheets

DOES ANY OF THIS FEEL FAMILIAR?

Maybe you…

Overthink things long after they have happened.

Question yourself even when you know what you want.

Look for reassurance that everything is okay.

Find yourself needing other people's approval.

Keep repeating patterns you promised yourself you wouldn't repeat.

Feel responsible for keeping everybody else happy.

Struggle to say no without feeling guilty.

Appear strong on the outside but feel very different underneath.

Know intellectually that you're “good enough” but don't always feel it.

Or perhaps nothing is dramatically wrong.

Life is functioning.

You're getting through your days.

But somewhere underneath everything…

you don't quite feel like yourself anymore.

If any of that resonates, I want you to consider a different question.

WHAT IF THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU?

We spend so much of our lives asking:

“What's wrong with me?”

Why am I like this?

Why do I overthink?

Why do I care so much what people think?

Why do I keep choosing the same people?

Why do I struggle to trust?

Why can't I just let things go?

Why am I never satisfied with myself?

But what if we changed the question?

Instead of:

“What's wrong with me?”

We asked:

“What happened that taught me to see myself this way?”

That single shift changes where we begin.

From judgement...

to curiosity.

From criticism...

to understanding.

From trying to fix yourself...

to beginning to understand yourself.

And that's what we're going to do together over the next seven days.

THE PERSON YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE MAY SIMPLY BE THE PERSON YOU LEARNED TO BE.

Think about that.

Perhaps you learned to be:

The strong one.

The person who doesn't need anybody.

The people pleaser.

The person who keeps everybody happy.

The achiever.

The person who proves their worth through success.

The rescuer.

The person who feels valuable when somebody needs them.

The perfectionist.

The person who believes mistakes aren't acceptable.

The invisible one.

The person who learned it was safer not to be noticed.

We adapt.

We learn.

We protect ourselves.

And eventually those adaptations can become so familiar that we stop recognising them as something we learned.

We simply say:

“That's just who I am.”

But is it?

That's what Return To Self invites you to discover.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT BLAMING YOUR PAST

And it isn't about blaming your parents.

It isn't about reliving every painful experience you've ever had.

It isn't about telling yourself that everything in your life is because of your childhood.

And it certainly isn't about spending seven days convincing yourself that you're broken.

It's about becoming curious.

Because experiences can create meaning.

Meaning can become beliefs.

Beliefs can influence identity.

Identity can influence behaviour.

And repeated behaviour can become patterns.

Until eventually…

we can find ourselves living according to beliefs we never consciously chose.

Return To Self helps you begin noticing them.

WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER OVER 7 DAYS

I've deliberately designed this as a journey, rather than seven unrelated exercises.

Each day takes you a little deeper.

Not by telling you what you should think.

But by helping you ask questions you may never have asked yourself before.

DAY 1 — THERE IS A REASON YOU FEEL THIS WAY

Move away from:

“What's wrong with me?”

and begin exploring what may actually sit underneath some of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

Shift: Self-blame → Self-understanding

DAY 2 — THE PERSON YOU LEARNED TO BE

Explore the roles and identities you may have adopted to feel safe, accepted, needed, successful or loved.

And begin asking:

“Is this really who I am—or who I learned I needed to be?”

Shift: Identity → Curiosity

DAY 3 — THE BELIEFS RUNNING YOUR LIFE

Begin identifying the hidden beliefs that may quietly influence your confidence, relationships, expectations and choices.

Because:

Familiar doesn't necessarily mean true.

Shift: Automatic belief → Conscious awareness

DAY 4 — WHAT ARE YOU STILL TRYING TO PROVE?

Enough.

Successful enough.

Attractive enough.

Strong enough.

Independent enough.

Lovable enough.

What if some of your striving isn't really about what you're trying to achieve…

but about what you're hoping achieving it will finally allow you to feel?

Shift: Proving → Understanding

DAY 5 — STOP LOOKING FOR YOURSELF IN THE WRONG PLACES

Approval.

Relationships.

Achievement.

Validation.

Attention.

Certainty.

What have you been asking the outside world to give you?

And what might you need to begin developing within yourself?

Shift: External searching → Internal connection

DAY 6 — MEET YOURSELF WITHOUT THE STORY

Your history matters.

But your history isn't the whole of you.

Step beyond the labels, roles and narratives you've carried and begin exploring:

Who am I when the story isn't running the show?

Shift: Story → Self

DAY 7 — RETURN TO SELF

Now we bring everything together.

Not by creating some imaginary “new you.”

But by asking what you want to keep.

What you're ready to question.

What you're ready to release.

And what you want to choose differently from here.

Shift: Autopilot → Choice

THIS ISN'T SOMETHING YOU JUST READ

Each day combines carefully written guidance with:

✓ Guided self-reflection

✓ Thought-provoking questions

✓ Journal prompts

✓ Practical exercises

✓ Dedicated worksheets

✓ End-of-day reflections

✓ One small action to take forward

You'll also receive the 5-Minute Return—a simple process you can come back to whenever you notice yourself slipping into an old pattern.

You don't need hours.

Give yourself 10–20 minutes each day.

A quiet space.

A little honesty.

And a willingness to become curious.

YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE THE ANSWERS.

In fact, I'd prefer you didn't.

You don't need to understand psychology.

You don't need to know exactly where your patterns came from.

You don't need to have your life figured out.

You don't even need to know precisely why you're here.

You can arrive thinking:

“I don't really know what's wrong. I just know I don't want to keep feeling like this.”

That's enough.

We'll start there.

WHO MADE THIS?

Hi, I'm Warren.

Warren Bell

Registered Mental Health Nurse | Author | Creator of the Return To Self Method™

I've spent almost three decades working in mental health, including more than 20 years specialising in the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children, young people and families.

During that time, I've sat alongside people during some incredibly difficult periods of their lives.

And I've learned something important:

People rarely need more judgement.

They need somewhere safe enough to begin understanding themselves.

But Return To Self isn't simply something I've learned professionally.

It's personal too.

I know something about what it feels like to become disconnected from yourself.

To wonder why you think the way you think.

To carry things from the past into the present.

And eventually to realise that understanding yourself can take you somewhere that criticising yourself never could.

WHY I CREATED RETURN TO SELF

I created this because I believe too many people spend their lives trying to fix themselves without ever understanding themselves.

They read another book.

Watch another video.

Listen to another podcast.

Try another technique.

Promise themselves that tomorrow they'll finally change.

And when it doesn't work…

they blame themselves again.

I wanted to create something different.

Something human.

Something achievable.

Something that doesn't stand above you and tell you who you should become.

Instead, I want to sit beside you and ask:

What happened?

What did you learn?

What did you start believing?

How has that belief shaped you?

Does it still serve you?

And ultimately:

Who might you be without everything you've learned you have to be?

That's Return To Self.

WHAT I DON'T PROMISE

I won't promise to transform your entire life in seven days.

I won't tell you that seven exercises can erase years of experience.

And I won't promise that you'll reach Day 7 as a completely different person.

Because that's not the point.

My hope is that you finish these seven days seeing yourself differently.

Perhaps you understand one pattern that never made sense before.

Perhaps you recognise a belief you've spent years treating as fact.

Perhaps you stop blaming yourself for something you finally understand.

Perhaps you realise how much energy you've spent trying to prove your worth.

Perhaps you hear your own voice a little more clearly.

And perhaps, for the first time in a long time, you ask:

“What do I want?”

That can be the beginning of something significant.

IMAGINE FINISHING DAY 7 AND REALISING…

“Maybe I'm not broken.”

“Maybe this pattern actually makes sense.”

“Maybe I don't have to keep believing this.”

“Maybe I don't need everybody else's approval.”

“Maybe I can stop trying to prove myself.”

“Maybe who I've been isn't the limit of who I can be.”

And perhaps most importantly:

“Maybe I can choose differently.”

That is what I want these seven days to give you.

Not another version of yourself.

A different relationship with the person who's already there.

How long have you been trying to become someone better…

And one question running underneath all of them:

WHO AM I UNDERNEATH EVERYTHING I LEARNED I HAD TO BE?

You don't need to know the answer yet.

That's why we're taking the journey.
