These toe-up socks are a great introduction to Japanese lace, with a simple pattern that is easy to remember. Twisted stitches combine with eyelets to create a lovely pattern that covers the whole of the sock.

Sizes - measured around mid-foot
  • Small - 7” (17.75)
  • Medium - 8” (20.25)
  • Large - 9” (22.75)
Gauge
32 sts and 44 rounds = 4" (10cm) in stocking stitch in the round

Yarn Requirements
100g/400m 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn.  Any that gives gauge should be suitable.

Needles and Notions
  • 2.25mm (US1 ) circular needle, or dpns
  • 2 stitch markers
  • tapestry needle for weaving in the ends
