Beyond Beautiful Book Collaboration
Join Dr. Jaz in this book collaboration project entitled Beyond Beautiful: A Girl's Guide to Studying, Staying Focused, and Self Care during Difficult Times!
This is the 3rd book in the Beyond Beautiful Girl's Empowerment Series!
Being included in this book collaboration project will include joining Dr. Jaz as a coauthor by contributing a short chapter to the book. This will include:
- Submitting short answer essay questions to the following writing prompts:
1) Tell us more about yourself
2) what are some of your big future goals
3) where are you on your path toward reaching your goals
4) what are some of your biggest tips for young women on path to reaching their goals as it relates to self care, staying focused and studying during difficult times (share personal stories of if you have ever faced challenges in these areas,how you overcame them, and any specific tips you have for young women in these areas)
5) what final words of encouragement do you have for young women going through tough times?
Each essay prompt should be only about 1 page long and does not have to be too long. Whole submission should be 5000 words or less.
This is fast turnaround in order to publish book before teen and preteen girls return to school so submissions will be due on August 1, 2020.
Dr. Zapata will retain publication rights to the book for sale on Amazon, however, as a coauthor, you will be you will receive 10 complimentary copies of the book once published and will be able to receive copies of the book in the future for discounted price of $10 each (books are sold on market for $20). You will also be able to use this book as leverage for future speaking opportunities, credibility as an emerging author, and other opportunities that may arise via the Beyond Beautiful brand if interested. This is a great opportunity to get started in your career as an author and learn about the book publishing process!
