The Lazarus Blueprint
Paris, 1968. The Cold War is a silent, bloody battle fought in the shadows. For MI6 agent Nathan Hawke, it’s about to become terrifyingly personal.
A target Hawke was certain he eliminated in a Vienna canal two years ago has resurfaced. Codenamed “The Ghost,” this faceless KGB assassin is more machine than man, a product of brutal surgery and Soviet science. His mission: to enact a terrible vengeance by targeting the only family Hawke has left.
As The Ghost stalks his prey through the bohemian alleys of Montmartre and the ossified depths of the Paris Catacombs, Hawke, his former-KGB partner Anastasia Petrova, and their brilliant, agoraphobic tech wizard, Harry, are thrust into a desperate race. They must uncover the truth behind "Lazarus," a clandestine Soviet bioweapons program that can bring the dead back to do its bidding.
Haunted by the guilt of putting his last living relative in the crosshairs, Hawke’s cool, analytical facade begins to crack, replaced by a burning need for retaliation. But to stop a ghost, he must first confront the ghosts of his own creation. With Anastasia wrestling with the sins of her KGB past and Harry battling his own demons from a cluttered London flat, the trio will be pushed to their limits.
In a world of lies, the only truth is the bullet. And in a city of light, the darkest shadows are those we cast ourselves.
