1. ONLINE - This course is taught and assessed online via live video call.
2. IN PERSON - You can attend 1 day practical training + self study assignments + Microteach at our Bideford, Devon venue

Pre-requisite / Entry level:

None

Course format:

3 online training sessions (via video call)

OR,

1 day in classroom (@ our Bideford venue)

+ online learning modules + microteach (Bideford or online)

This course can be learnt at your own pace as self-study.

Course content:

• Unit UET1 - Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
• Unit UET2 - Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
• Unit UV30563 - Understanding the principles and practices of assessment

Duration:

• GLH (Guided Learning Hours): 60. (GLH incl’s. practical, coursework, case studies, assessments, research/reading)
• Home study (Coursework): This is completed in your own time
• Practical Training: This course is taught online via video call

Attendance:

3 online training sessions (via video call)

OR

1 day in person @ Bideford

(ALL dates must be attended)

+ microteach (can be carried out at our Bideford venue or online via live video call)

Case Studies:

There must be evidence of you carrying

out a minimum of one hours documented teaching.

VTCT - Vocational training & charitable trust

Career potential:

Teaching - employed or self-employed, working in a further education college, school or private training centre for workshops, CPD accredited courses as well as formal qualifications.
