I began my industry career as a buyer of meetings, incentives and trade show services before going into sales and marketing of MICE products and services and have over 30 years of industry experience that includes other publications including, "Luxury Travel: Your Passport to Profit" as well as having written hundreds of articles for trade media around the world. 

With a focus on education for our industry I've served on the SITE (Society of Incentive Travel Excellence) international Board of Directors, spoken at a number of industry functions and conducted training workshops in 45 countries.

Most recently I've co-authored two of the industry's newer certification programs: The CIS (Certified Incentive Specialist) and CMS (Certified Meeting Specialist).
