The Off-Switch — The Overthinking Reset /A Guide for the 2am Thought Spiral
For anyone who lies awake running the same thoughts in circles — and wants a way out that isn't "just stop thinking."
You know the feeling. It's late. The room is quiet. You are trying to sleep. And somehow you're back at "the desk" — turning the same question over and over, looking for an answer that never quite arrives.
Most advice for overthinking tries to fix the content of the thoughts. Challenge them, reframe them, replace them. But what if the problem isn't the thought itself? What if the loop keeps going because some part of you believes that if you think about it long enough, you'll finally get a verdict — about the decision, the situation, yourself? No thought can give you that. So the loop never ends.
The Off-Switch is a five-step method I developed out of frustration with exactly this. Not to suppress what comes up, not to force yourself into positivity, but to shift your position in relation to the thought spiral. I think of it as moving to a second chair. You're still in the same room. The question might still be there. But you're no longer sitting at the desk with an impossible job description. The guide walks you through all five steps — Notice, Enough, Move, Redirect, Return — with plain language, no jargon, and a 2AM Card on page 22 designed to be screenshotted straight to your phone lock screen.
I made this because reading about change wasn't enough for me either. I needed something to do with my hands at 2am, not another framework to understand. This is 28 pages. You can read it in under an hour. And then you can use it tonight.
