Barolo Giachini is a very elegant wine, with typical La Morra Barolo flavors. 2016 is recognized as an excellent crop and ages for several years. In its aromatic character we find aromas of red and black fruits, tobacco, vanilla and rose petals. The tannins are intense but elegant and the acidity is high.
Giovanni Corino follows what some would like to call a "modern style" of winemaking using small oak barrels, also called barrique. Giachini Barolo matures in French oak barrels where it remains for 24 months.
