MAINTENANCE IN STATUTORY AND ISLAMIC LAW MARRIAGES: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

This study aims to compare and contrast the maintenance provisions of statutory and Islamic laws, in order to identify similarities and differences between the two legal frameworks. It explores the rights and obligations of husbands and wives, the legal remedies available in cases of neglect, and how both systems approach maintenance during marriage and after divorce.
