ANALYSIS OF QUANTILE REGRESSION AS ALTERNATIVE TO ORDINARY LEAST SQUARE REGRESSION

In this article, an alternative to ordinary least squares (OLS) regression based on analytical solution in the Statgraphics software is considered, and this alternative is no other than quantile regression (QR) model. This paper presents a QR approach which provides different estimator for each quantile. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), and references
