Kira hates humans.
After all, with her long black tail, topaz eyes, fangs, and claws, Kira isn't exactly human.
And now she is the olny one of her kind after two human men burn her village down and kill everyone she has ever known in front of her eyes.
Next thing she knows she's waking up a year and a half later in a zoo, and hundreds of people are paying to catch a mere glimpse of her eyer day.
Kira must learn to trust humans in order to escape a hellish zoo, navigate a maze of a forest, and ultimately, rebuild her devastated village, species, and her life.
If she doesn't, she may never find her way home again.
