Same cab as the one used by John Sykes in Whitesnake and by Guns'n Roses on their legendary 'Appetite for Destruction', a ton of great sounding albums from the early 80's and onward has been using a cab just like this one, and there is a good reason for that... The speakers sound awesome and microphone placement is easy since most positions sound great.

I have used it a lot and use it whenever I need a more open/organic sound, the Mesa Boogies are great as well at what they do, it all depends what your project/album needs to fit your vision.
