Hello, my name is Jonas Kjellgren and I’m a Swedish music producer/musician.

I’ve been working as an music producer since 1999 and have recorded a lot of different bands, mostly in the Rock and Metal genres. I’m a guitarist as well (some of my past/present bands includes; Centinex, Scar Symmetry, Ironmaster, World Below, Nekrodawn, Bourbon Boys).

These last 25 years I have mostly been recording,mixing and mastering other peoples albums, which most of the time includes reamping their guitar tracks, so I have miked up a guitar cab more than a few times and I still love doing it, always fun.

Many years ago when I became a dad ,I suddenly had a family to take care of so I couldn’t be at the studio as often as I used to. So I did like a lot of people do these days, I setup a small recording rig in my bedroom to be able to track guitars with headphones to not disturb the family at night. I was not super happy with just tracking thru ampsims so I got myself a load box and hooked up my favourite amp and got some ir loader that came with some ir’s that was not to my liking so I started to buy (still do) a lot of ir packs to get closer to the sound I was used to when tracking guitars. 

All the ir’s I have bought over the years has been really good, some even fantastic, but they have not been sounding exactly like the guitar sound I’m after, also every guitar cab sounds different even if it’s the same make/model/year. But the biggest factor of getting the sounds just like you want them is you and your taste which guides you towards that goal in an unlinear way whether you like it or not.

So I started to make my own ir’s which was soo much fun, finally I could have the sound of my cabinets at home as well.

It took a while to find the right method/equipment to get the sound of the miked up cab to sound identical in the ir-loader. I started sharing my ir’s with fellow studio-nerds and guitar players. Now after doing this impulse response mumbo jumbo for some years I feel confident in sharing these ir-packs with you, and hopefully you will enjoy them as much as I do and you’ll make some awesome tracks with it and take over the world with your insane riffage power.
