Black Powder IR Pack

Here is an ir-pack of the Eminence Patriot Black Powder 12inch speaker. Highly recommended for everything from classic rock to extreme metal, it has a good 'cut' in the sound without sounding harsh. The speaker was mounted in a 2x12 EVH 5150III cabinet with the second speaker disconnected to make the sound even more focused, sounds less "phasey" compared to a regular 2x12 or 4x12 setup, nothing wrong with a 4x12 but it is easier to fit this into a dense mix I have noticed. Anyhow horses for courses as they say :) Watch the video to get an overview of the sonic character of this speaker. There are 80 irs included, 64 single irs (room and behind opened cab included in these 64irs) and 16 mix/combined irs. Everything has been recorded quite raw, some microphones wanted some EQ on the way in to get the punch needed.
