Bluebird Hug Crochet Blanket

Originally designed in 2016 this was my very first crochet design. When Hobbii were asking for a Hug, a blanket, something cozy I immediately wanted to re-design that first blanket and make it even more beginner friendly, so here it is.

Difficulty

Working from the inside out the blanket uses US terminology throughout with just basic, single, double, half double and treble stitches throughout

Materials Needed

For this recreation I used Hobbii We Love Yarn Mega Ball which is a huge 400g and 1200 meters in double knit (8 ply). I had lots of yarn left over. The blanket uses: 4130 meters or 4510 yards in total across the four colours 3.5mm hook 4mm hook Yarn needle and scissors

Finished Size

136cm / 54 inches square
