This eBook is a 10 lesson course for learning to play the Applachian Dulcimer. (Also known as Mountain Dulcimer.) The lessons will take you from the basics of tuning, strumming and noting to playing ten songs.

The dulcimer is one of the few truly American folk instruments and is easy to play.

Included with this PDF eBook are 17 MP3 audio tracks which demonstrate every song in the course and provide tuning tracks too!

You will learn to use 3 different tunings and how to play these old favorites: Go Tell Aunt Rhody, Old MacDonald, Comin' Round the Mountain, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, Auld Lang Syne, Amazing Grace, Old Joe Clark, Soldier's Joy, Shady Grove,  and Worried Man Blues. The last two tunes are taught in a finger picking style.
