Learn to knit a classic pair of socks cuff down on Magic Loop with this pattern and companion video tutorial. The socks feature a simple k2p2 rib leg, continuing the k2p2 pattern into the heel flap, a simple gusset, and square heel construction finishing with a round toe (leg and foot length are completely customizable!). The accompanying video tutorial walks through each of these steps in detail.

The pattern includes a video tutorial that explains the sock knitting process and a complete walk-through of the pattern. 

Sizes:
To Fit Foot Circumference: 
5.5 (6.5, 8, 9, 10, 11) in 
[14 (16.5, 20, 22.5, 25, 27.5) cm]

Finished Measurements:

Leg and foot length are adjustable.

Intended to be worn with approximately 1 in [2.5 cm] negative ease for adults and 0.5 in [1.5 cm] for children.

Needles:
US 1 [2.25 mm] 32 in [80 cm] circular needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.

Yarn:
These socks are knit in Scrumptious Purl yarn [in the Cornflowers colorway], a lovely self-striping superwash merino sock yarn.

Amounts listed below are approximate. Total yarn requirements will vary depending on desired foot width, foot length, and leg length.

Scrumptious Purl Stripe Me Up (400 yds/365 m, 3.5 oz/100 g, 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon): 1 ball
