He Rescues Himself

An evidence-based course for men.

Your body, your head, your wellbeing, your relationships, your kids, your extended family, your extra-curricular habits, your work, your mates, your distractions and all the things.

Short lessons. No homework or lectures. Real tools. In plain, simple and easy to understand terms.

What's actually in it?

Your body. Load, sleep, shift work and rosters, the Australian health checklist by age, and how to get something useful out of a 10-minute GP appointment.

Your head. Working out what you're feeling when you haven't got the word. What sits under anger. Shame, grief, and what to do when your brain has always worked differently.

Your relationships. Communication, conflict, repair, boundaries. And an accurate account of what might be going on for a woman in midlife, without the stereotypes.

Your kids. Separation, co-parenting, not seeing your kids, being a stepdad, and what Australian family law actually says now.

Safety. Coercive control, in both directions, and who to ring either way.

The stuff you use not to feel the stuff. Alcohol, gambling, porn, gaming, work. No sermon.

Work and money. Provider pressure, redundancy, the workplace law that changed and nobody told you, money triage, and the free service most men have never heard of.

Mates. Why they disappeared, what the research says works, and how to ask a bloke a real question.

What you want from here. Values, purpose, a seven-day reset, and a one-page plan you keep.

Some of what is covered includes:

There are 11 sections covering most aspects of life as a man - with lessons that are no more than 8 minutes long, and 18 tools you download and keep as well as support that is practical, easy to understand and apply to every day life.

It covers your body, your sleep, your head, your relationships, your kids, drinking, dependency and other habits, your money, your work, your mates, and so much more.

Things like:

•  What to actually say to a GP so you get something useful out of 10 minutes they give you

•  How to work out what you are feeling when you have not got the word for it, including a version that works if you cannot feel a thing in your body

•  What sits underneath anger, and how to catch it earlier

•  How to hear something hard from your partner without defending yourself

•  What might be going on for a woman in midlife, accurately, without stereotypes

•  What to do in the first 90 days after a separation, which is the most dangerous stretch of most men's lives and almost nobody tells men that

•  How to recognise coercive control, whether it is being done to you or you are the one doing it, and who to ring either way

•  Alcohol, gambling, porn and gaming, without a sermon

•  Money stress, triaged into something workable, and the free service most men do not know exists

•  Why your mates disappeared, and what the research says actually works

It is not a programme you complete.

Some men read two or three pieces, choose what they need support with at a particular time, skip the rest, and come back to them when they need support or want to gain some understanding. There is lifetime access that is available 24/7, so it's there whenever it is needed.

Nothing forced, no pressure, no drama. No requirement to attend classes or appointments.

That is a legitimate way to do this.

How It Works

Every lesson tells you how long it takes. Nothing is compulsory. You can skip whole modules. Every activity has a minimum version for the days when the full one is too much.

"I don't know" is a valid answer to every question in it, and it says so.

Written for men who are single, married, separated, divorced, widowed. Fathers, stepfathers, blokes without kids. Tradies, FIFO workers, shift workers, office workers, business owners, blokes out of work. Straight, gay, bi. First Nations. Blokes with a disability, chronic pain, ADHD or autism, rejection sensitivity and more.

It is not therapy, not counselling and not a crisis service. It cannot know your situation, so nothing in it is personal advice about your relationship, your health, your legal position or your money. There are several points in the course where it hands you over to a specialist, because that is the honest thing to do.

You do not have to open the course to get those numbers. They are here.

You might have picked this up because

Something's not right and you can't name it.

You've got a pain you've been meaning to see someone about for eight months.

Your partner keeps saying you don't talk, and you thought you did.

You've separated and nobody warned you it would be like this.

You're not seeing your kids as much as you should be.

You're drinking more than you'd say out loud.

You can't remember the last real conversation you had with a mate.

Or you're fine, mostly, and you'd like things to be better or easier.

Perhaps nobody sat you down and explained stuff in a way that makes sense to you

Perhaps you don't feel seen, heard or supported.

So here it is.... answers to questions, things to say, what to look at, what to ignore, when to take action, when to stop, what people are actually saying verbally and non-verbally, and so much more, broken down into lessons that you can read in 8 minutes or less.

These are all reasonable reasons to be here and it has been designed so you can just choose what is live for you in the moment,

without having to go through stuff you don't need, so support and answers are at your fingertips when you need it.
