Demelza's Dance is in bright playful 2/4 time in A minor. The middle section by contrast is in A major and is lyrical before returning to the A minor section then coda.
The flute range is just over 2 octaves with the top not being top F which only occurs once or twice.
I have placed it at intermediate level, but the youtube link has the full score for you to judge suitability.
