These are little versions of the adult
Porty Cardigan and
Pullover.
This cardigan is worked in one piece from the top down with a circular yoke construction. Sleeves and body are separated at the underarm. Colorwork is charted for the yoke. Steek stitches are cut after knitting and an I-Cord button band is worked along the cut steek edges.
Size 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
23 ½ (25 ¼, 27, 28 ¼, 30, 31 ¼) in / 60 (64, 68.5, 72, 76, 79.5) cm at chest (this includes the button band).
The above sizes roughly correspond with the following ages: 1-2 (2-4, 4-6, 6-8, 8-10, 10-12) years. It is recommended to measure the chest of the recipient for better fit.
Suggested ease is between 2-4 in / 5-10cm of positive ease.
