Miss Priss Cowl

Miss Priss Cowl is a fun accessory for those chilly fall nights or early spring mornings when you need to throw on something cute and warm. Two sizes allow for a closer or looser fit, as well as to fit children, teens and adults. This pattern was born out of a request from my daughters to have matching scarves for their Miss Priss Hats (pattern sold separately), and they happily modeled the two different sizes for me in the pattern pictures. Choose two coordinating colors or have fun using up your worsted yarn stash. Since the Cowl is worked in the round, you can easily change colors every row. The flower embellishment is optional, and you can add as many flowers as you want! Miss Priss Cowl works up fast for a satisfying quick project or even a last minute gift.

SIZE
Two sizes; both sizes can fit child, teen or adult
-Size One: 23”/59 cm circumference by 10”/25 cm length (closer to neck fit)
-Size Two: 25”/63 cm circumference by 8”/20 cm length (looser around neck fit)

GAUGE
-With H Hook: 14 dc and 8 rows = 4”/10 cm

-Size H (5.00 mm) for cowl
-Optional: Size G (4.25 mm) for flower

YARN
-Caron Simply Soft (100% acrylic; 315 yards/288 meters; 6 oz/170 grams per skein): 1 skein MC and 1 skein CC for one cowl
-Size One uses colors Strawberry and Off-White
-Size Two used colors Gold and Off-White

-Or similar size 4 worsted weight yarn in colors of choice, approximately 315 yards/288 meters for MC and approximately 150-200 yards/137-183 meters of CC
