Yemmy's Incredible Travel Tales

Many people have pet names for their vehicles and I’ve even heard that some drivers talk to them. That’s fair enough - but have you ever heard about a vehicle talking back?

I thought not! But here we have a little motorhome not only talking - but writing it all down for anyone to read.

Lionel Mussell’s Yemmy is a little Mercedes motorhome with a way with words and a talent for spotting the right pictures to show what he is talking about.

Although the company that built him is based in Germany, he actually began his life in a Mercedes plant in Argentina before being shipped to Australia and fitted out as a Victorian ambulance.

Having served the Ambulance service extremely well for ten years he was pensioned off and sold at auction to a Melbourne car dealer.

That’s where he was sold and started his new career travelling highways and by-ways all over Australia with his new owner.
