This is a tutorial pattern in PDF format. You are not purchasing the Green Man Star Ornament with this listing.

The Green Man, a figure often depicted with foliage emerging from his mouth or head, has roots in both pagan and Christian traditions, with the term "Green Man" first used in 1939 to describe foliate head motifs in church architecture. I have always been fascinated by the Green Man, in Churches, in artwork, in ancient history, and this is my adaptation of it, with autumnal leaves.

You can stuff this star if you want to, I used standard toy stuffing, which helps to hold the puffiness of the star. Each warped square is made over 26 rows and the completed star measures 4 1/2 inches or 11.5cm at the widest part.

For bead count, please see listing photographs.
