On the first and second days of the Lunar New Year, Chinese people all over the world take advantage of this annual festival to visit parents, relatives, and friends, bringing tangerines as a New Year's greeting. This tradition has continued for thousands of years, mainly hoping that everyone can have a good start in the Year of the Horse! New Year's greetings are readily exchanged, such as "Wishing you prosperity!", "May all your wishes come true!", "Good health!", "May your business prosper!" etc. This exchange of greetings strengthens relationships. In Singapore and some Southeast Asian countries, after exchanging New Year's greetings, there are usually joint activities, some at home, restaurants, community groups, or even clubs, the size depending on the number of people. Some larger restaurants or banquet halls pay attention to the decoration and design of the venue, using horse-themed elements to attract more customers. 

大年初一初二初可以說是全世界的華人都會趁這個一年一度的農曆佳節帶著柑橘四處探訪父母親戚朋友拜个早年這項傳統活動延續了數千年主要是希望彼此在馬年祝福對方都能夠有个好的開始！此时新春的賀詞都會隨口而出比如恭喜發財！萬事如意！身體健康！生意興隆！等等這樣互相交換賀詞可以增進彼此的感情！在新加坡和一部分東南亞國家拜年之後一般上都會有共同撈起的活動有些在家裡餐館社團甚至俱樂部場合的大小根據人數而定！ 有些比較大型的餐廳或宴會廳會重視會場的佈置和設計以馬年的造型來吸引更多客戶！
