Reading Made Simple helps adults and teenagers learn to read using phonics, a well-developed and widely used method. Phonics has been officially sanctioned in English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States as the best method for teaching reading.

This 97-page book is unique because it is concise, simple and direct in approach, hence the title "Reading Made Simple". The points are filtered out, fine tuned and presented in such a way that students will understand its content without any difficulty. It is economical and easy to use because it is a volume unlike previously published phonics books which usually come in several volumes.

This book is organised into seven chapters:

Chapter 1 deals with the phonic sounds of the English alphabet.

Chapter 2 combines the phonic sounds for two-letter words and sounds.

Chapter 3 teaches phoneme spelling (phonemes are each separate units of sounds which make up a language).

Chapter 4 presents consonant clusters (groups of consonants with a specific sound).

Chapter 5 treats words and sounds (phonograms - which means the symbols or letters used to make a sound).

Chapter 6 deals with words and silent letters.

Chapter 7 delves into nouns (words which represent things, people or ideas), number (single or plural - more than one) and verb forms (words which show action or state of being).

The book is designed to help adults and teenagers who struggle with reading achieve fluency within one to three months. Feedback from learners, teachers and instructors is always welcome.

The book comes as a digital download.
