This pattern includes a materials list and clear step-by-step instructions and diagrams to help you make the quilt top. Sashing cornerstones and some border units are paper pieced.  Master templates for the paper foundations are included for you to copy.  This PDF version of the pattern includes a photo tutorial showing how to paper piece the required units.

The finished quilt will measure 59" x 73".

To make this quilt you will need:

• Assorted scraps: 1200 - 1 1/2" squares OR 50 strips 1 1/2" x 40"
• 2 1/4 yards white (sashing and border detail)
• 1/2 yard of yellow (sashing)
• 2 yards red (sashing and border)
• 1/2 yard red (binding)
• 3 3/4 yard backing fabric
• 65" x 80" batting
