Canopy is a cushion or pillow cover featuring an all over slipped stitch texture in three colours. An optional ‘afterthought’ opening at the back allows to easily remove the cover and comes with a step by step video tutorial.

Size 1 fits a 50 x 50 cm – 19 ¾ x 19 ¾“ cushion

Finished cover measurements length x circumference 45 x 85 cm – 17 ¾ x 33 ½”

Size 2 fits a 50 x 30 cm cushion – 19 ¾ x 11 ¾“

Finished cover measurements length x circumference 45 x 45 cm – 17 ¾ x 17 ¾”

The pattern provides instructions to achieve any shape and size.

Yarn :

You will need 3 colours of DK or Worsted weight yarn in the following amounts :

MC : 380 (180) meters – 415 (200) yards

CC1 : 300 (140) meters – 330 (155) yards

CC2 : 300 (140) meters – 330 (155) yards

The Square sample was knit using Woll Butt Cassia (125 m – 137 yds / 50 g) in 10316 (MC), 10323 (CC1) and 10318 (CC2).

The Rectangle sample was knit using Lana Grossa Landlust Alpaca Merino 100 (100 m – 109 yds / 50 g) in 324 (MC), 326 (CC1) and 310 (CC2).

Needles :

Main fabric : 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles

Ribbing: 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles

or sizes required to get gauge

Gauge :

26 sts x 50 rnds per 10 cm – 4” in texture stitch after blocking

Fastening method (optional) : three buttons, snap pressure buttons or zipper

Canopy est une housse de coussin avec un motif texturé tricolore de mailles glissées. Une ouverture facultative ‘après-coup’ sur l’arrière permet d’enlever facilement la housse et est présentée étape par étape avec un tutoriel vidéo.
