The Heritage Letter
I’d like this to be a small pause in your day—a chance to share stories, reflections, and a little of Yorkshire’s past. It also gives me the freedom to write more fully than social media allows.
In this first edition, I’m turning to October and the moods of autumn—though I couldn’t resist giving you a sneak preview of two festive attractions our museums and country houses are preparing for the season ahead.
I hope you enjoy this first “letter.” I’d love to hear your thoughts and that you’ll join me as this new journey unfolds.
For those who don’t know my shop on Payhip, everything there is available on a pay-what-you-can basis, with no minimum amount. Donations are always welcome, but I believe personal circumstances should never be a barrier to exploring history and heritage. In this way everyone can still enjoy the stories of Yorkshire’s past.
Best wishes,
John
