Laundry Edition 4 (Updated October 2018)
The contents of this booklet was a result of hundreds—maybe thousands—of women asking for help in preventing wrinkles resulting from the use of the “combo” washer/dryer units commonly found in RVs. They were not happy with the results of their efforts and wanted something better.
Ron (spouse) and I have been fulltime RVers since early 2003. We present seminars nationwide and for years, had a vendor booth at RV shows where we sold our books. We had to look “presentable” in the booth and at the seminars. We also go out regularly and we both dislike wrinkled clothing.
My initial effort was a seminar entitled, “Wrinkle-Free RV Laundry.” It was well-attended but attendees wanted a “handout” with the information. I started one but it was too lengthy. So, I put the information (all the data and processes) in this booklet and have used it since then.
I hate wrinkled clothes and the RV lifestyle is not the ideal environment for ironing. So, somehow, the wrinkles had to go away. After experimenting nearly two years with my original Splendide “combo” washer/dryer, I developed a “process” to eliminate most of the wrinkles.
I knew the Splendide had been used in Europe for family laundry… so there had to be a way to have successful results… and I decided that no machine was going to get the better of me!
My first combo was a Splendide Model 2000. Next, we had a Model 2100. Now, we have a Model 2100XC. All these are commonly found in RVs, easy to use, and produce excellent results. But they are not like the washer/dryer in a laundromat or your home.
You must understand and adapt to the differences to achieve the results you want. The good news… it’s easy to do. Finally, there are NO extra costs, gadgets, special products, magic soaps, or additional products involved in getting wrinkle-free laundry from your combo washer/dryer. It’s all in the “how.”
Let me show you how.
