Inspired by the colours of banks of aquilegia flowers drifting into one another, this garter stitch chevron shawl makes use of the Fibonacci sequence to allow the colours to drift from one to another.

Suggested Yarn: West Yorkshire Spinners, Illustrious (70% Falkland Wool, 30% Alpaca, 224m/100g)
A; Highland (031), 2 balls (372m used)
B; Old Lace (010), 3 balls (606m used)
C; Mulberry (765), 3 balls (606m used)
D; Dusky Lilac (704), 2 balls (282m used)

Needles: 4mm (US 6) 80cm circular needle. Shawl is worked flat, but a circular needle is helpful due to the width of the work.

Notions: 13 stitch markers, Tapestry needle

Gauge: 10cm = 29 sts x 30 rows measured over pattern. (Stitches are counted along the chevron of one row, so make a generous size swatch when checking gauge to allow the chevrons to form)
