Park adventure- primary school
Grab your clipboard and head to a park. Enjoy the bird life and a scavenger hunt, plus draw a map to hide your own treasure in!
This adventure was designed with mid primary school students in mind though younger or older students may also enjoy it.
This adventure will work in any park.
While the adventure sheet has some explanations, some prior knowledge is assumed of creating a graph, divisions and geometrical shapes.
You can do the activity with your kids to help them as they go, or you can discuss the concepts beforehand.
As you set off on your adventure, I recommend bringing a clipboard, pen a bendy measuring tape and a small toy.
Happy learning!
