This is an 16-panelled (8 panels per side) strapped cincher with a gentle reduction to accentuate the male waist. This design is more about support and posture than creating a feminine silhouette however more cinch can of course be applied at the waist if more of a reduction is preferred. The straps help with posture (keeping the shoulders back!) but a good fit is required to ensure as comfortable a garment as possible - intermediate level. Includes a 25 page manual of general corset construction notes to help you in your corset making journey! Also included is a pattern and sewing information for adding a welt pocket (optional).

This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box. Instructions included.

Have you also seen the waistcoat corset designed for men? https://www.etsy.com/uk/CorsetsbyCaroline/listing/1106759388/male-corseted-vest-waist-coat-pattern?utm_source=Copy&utm_medium=ListingManager&utm_campaign=Share&utm_term=so.lmsm&share_time=1661496877825

It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen or shorten if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset.

Please take a look at my website www.corsetsbycaroline.co.uk where I have lots of information about corset making and where it is more cost-effective to buy this design (non EU countries only sorry).
