Decision Is Destiny
God said to me one morning: "Veronica, decision is destiny. That is all it is. I am not doing anything — you are the one deciding your life."
If you board the plane to America, you will never arrive in India, no matter how much your heart wanted India. If you buy mangoes, you will never taste apples. Every choice must produce a result.
The world spells destiny luck — kismet, karma, horoscope, the stars, the way the cookie crumbles. Not one of those words has a person in it. God spells destiny decision.
And nobody will answer for you. When the fire is burning on your skin, even the person pouring water on that fire will not feel the pain you are feeling.
When God told me to write, I had never written a book in my life. No publisher, no training, no evidence — only what God said. Years later I asked my husband what he had thought that day. He said, "I thought you were joking. I thought it was something you'd do for a few days. If I had known it was real, I would have stopped you." Thank God he thought I was joking. Over 120 books exist because a decision founded on what is written was stronger than everybody's estimate of it.
That is the foundation of this book: when you decide on what God has said, you cannot fail. Jesus answered every temptation the same way — it is written, it is written, it is written.
Thirteen chapters on what a decision really is, the foundation that cannot fail, how to guard it once made, and how to fight for it.
Your decisions are your destiny. Choose well, and choose on the Word.
