My name is Amanar. My story began with an irresistible pull toward the mysterious and the forbidden, a fascination that first emerged in my youth. On warm summer evenings, as twilight slowly gave way to the stillness of night, I found myself contemplating the existence of other forces and worlds. My imagination conjured visions of mystical rituals, ancient priests, and enigmatic witches gathering for their sabbaths under the full moon.
Years passed, and my thirst for knowledge only grew stronger. I sought answers in various occult traditions—from Eastern practices to European alchemy and Kabbalistic texts. I was spellbound by the beauty and depth of Latin and the ancient incantations found in monastic grimoires. Each new text revealed yet another dimension of magical reality.
However, as I delved into the vast heritage of the past, I noticed how often ancient knowledge remained inaccessible or was deliberately hidden. Old manuscripts crumbled from decay; books were burned by the Inquisition; revelations were passed on only at secret gatherings… All this turned the path of seeking truth into an endless labyrinth. That was when I set out to create a book that would merge the spirit of medieval grimoires, incantations in Latin, classic rituals, and modern ways of applying them.
That idea gave birth to Witches’ Sabbath. This is not merely a collection of rituals and incantations. It is an invitation to a world where the ancient art of witchcraft is reborn, maintaining its roots while opening itself to the modern practitioner. Here, you will find canonical formulas as well as my own contributions, born of long meditations and experiments in nocturnal ceremonies.
