Soft Structure is the wearable one. The pleasurable knit. Engaging, comfortable, and just right for against-the-skin three-season wear.

Soft Structure is worked seamlessly from the top down. Simple cables on the body and sleeves showcase wedges of texture. The neckline is a modest v, with a gently shaped with a curled edge.

“Lovely intuitive knit with just the right amount of interest to keep me knitting.” -Brigitte

SIZES

A (B, C, D, E) (F, G, H I)

For the best fit, this pattern is sized based on your upper chest measurement, which is the body's circumference beneath the arms and above the bust.

To fit upper chest: 30.25 (33.5, 36.75, 40, 43.25) (46.5, 49.75, 53, 56.25) inches / 75.5 (83.5, 91.5, 100, 108) (116, 124, 132.5, 140.5) cm

In addition to the raglan shaping worked from the neck cast-on to the split for the arms and body, 4 additional rows of increases are worked only in the front of the body after the split. These increases create more ease in the front than the back, and add 1.75 inches / 4 cm to the garment's full bust measurement, which is 1 inch / 2.5 cm below the underarm.

The target ease at the full bust is 3 - 5 inches / 7.5 - 12.5 cm of positive ease. Instructions are included in the pattern for adjusting your sweater if the size indicated by your upper chest measurement does not create the target ease at the full bust.

Finished bust: 34.5 (38, 42, 46.25, 50.5) (54, 58, 62.25, 66.5) inches / 87.5 (96.5, 106.5, 117.5, 128.5) (137, 147.5, 158, 169) cm

The target ease in the upper arm is 2.75 - 3.25 inches / 7 - 8 cm of positive ease.

Upper sleeve: 12.75 (13, 14.25, 14.75, 16.5) (18, 19.75, 21.5, 22.75) inches / 32.5 (33, 36, 37.5, 42) (45.5, 50, 54.5, 58) cm
