CONSTRUCTION

The möbius 

cowl is knit in the round beginning with a provisional cast on. Slip stitch pattern is worked to length, then work is twisted once and ends are grafted together to create a seamless circle. Sample uses Sincere Sheep Cormo Sport and Knit Picks High Desert Sport.

MATERIALS

Sport weight or light DK yarn

• Main Color: ~350 yards / 320 meters
• Contrast Color: ~220 yards / 201 meters
• US 5 (3.75 mm) OR size to achieve gauge:
• 16” circular
• spare circular needle of equal or similarly lesser size for finishing
• Smooth scrap yarn
• Stitch marker

GAUGE

in pattern on US 5: 27 stitches = 4”

*Note: while gauge is not crucial it will impact the yardage used.
