25 THINGS THE PASTOR SHOULD STOP PERSONALLY HANDLING
Many pastors are not tired from preaching.
They are tired from carrying responsibilities that should have already been delegated, structured, documented, or trained.
Some pastors are:
• unlocking buildings
• fixing microphones
• creating flyers
• answering every question
• managing every volunteer
• troubleshooting every issue
• approving every decision
• reminding adults to do basic assignments
That is not sustainable leadership! Healthy churches require structure, systems, training, and trusted people.
This checklist is not about pastors becoming disconnected.
It is about pastors becoming effective.
