Slash '90s General Clean
This is Slash’s General Golden Tone, the definitive sound of his ’90s era. Slightly smoother and less ‘in-your-face’ than the Tokyo ’92 tone but, the same gear. This is the rig he ran through Guns N’ Roses in '91-'93 all the way to the Snakepit 2001 tours, capturing his most legendary live sound. This preset brings that legendary tone right to your rig without you having to spend thousands on gear. Just plug and play — the magic of the "Golden Tone" is right there, ready to go.
Before you get it, I suggest you read the information as given.

Recommended Trim Settings
My recommended ToneX trim settings would be→ Set Input Trim between -8 to -4 dB and Output Trim around +2 dB.
This tone is built to sound massive on both studio monitors and live rigs.
So that being said, it cuts perfectly through any band mix.
Plug into an FRFR speaker or straight to the DI or even your amp front/return — it’s ready for the stage.
Personally, I plug it into my amp front signal. Yes, the front. Not the FX Loop. (Its my little trick that makes it sound so "alive"). Then I mic up with an SM-57.
